I live in London, which is the capital city of England.
Let me tell you all about England.
It is a great country!

England is part of the United Kingdom.
The other countries in the United Kingdom are Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This is our flag!

In England, it is often very cold and it rains a lot!
We have a Queen and a Prime Minister and together, they rule the country.
The Queen lives in Buckingham Palace, and she has lots of corgis.
Corgis are very clever, small dogs who come from Wales.

England has always had lots of Kings and Queens.
One very famous King was Henry the Eighth.
He lived in England in the 1500s.
That is a very long time ago.
He was very fat and he had seven different wives.
He was a mean King, and he cut off two of his wives heads.

England is a Christian Country.
This means we believe in one god.
This means we go to church on Sundays and we celebrate Christmas and Easter.

On Sundays, lots of English families eat a Roast Dinner together.
Roast Dinner is roast meat, vegetables and potatoes with lots of gravy.
I love Roast Dinner! It is delicious.
My Mum makes it every Sunday and we all eat it together.

London is the biggest city in England, because it is the capital.
London is famous for its big, red buses and red telephone boxes.
The biggest river in London is the Thames.
Nowadays the River Thames is very dirty.
Don't fall in!

England is a country full of inventors!
English people have invented lots of things, like Steam Trains and washing machines.
I would like to be an inventor too!
I have lots of interesting ideas that can help people.

In England, we all love football!
'Football' is the English name for 'Soccer'.
I support Arsenal, which is a very famous football team.
I go to watch football games with my Dad and it is so exciting!

In England, we all drink a lot of tea.
A long time ago, tea was a very special drink.
Tea came on a boat, all the way from China.
It was a very long and difficult journey, so the tea was very expensive!
Now, tea is not expensive. My granny drinks tea all the time.
She puts milk and sugar in it.

I like living in England.
But I also want to see lots of different countries too!
